Louis XVI, Paris, end of the 18th century. The later movement is marked Paul Garnier Paris (Paul Garnier, deceased 1917).
Bronze, burnished and parcel-gilt, and cream-colored marble. Seated figure of Diana with a hound and a dove, on a cylindrical case and an architectural base decorated with pierced oak branches and decorative frieze. Later white enamel dial. Parisian movement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell, marked Paul Garnier Paris. Pendulum missing.
