MG - A MkII Roadster - 1965

[ translate ]

MG A Mk. II Roadster from 1965 in very good condition. Perfectly preserved and in perfect running order. This vehicle has undergone a full restoration, with mechanical improvements. It has a 1800 cc engine from a MG B, which is linked to a synchronised 5-speed gearbox. The wire rims are of a lower profile and wider than the original ones, for a better roadholding. The car mechanics, more powerful and modern than the original one, combined with the accurate 5-speed gearbox from a Ford Sierra, allow the car to achieve a better performance, thanks to a better gear scaling or distribution, both changing up and down gears, in short drives and with all synchronised gears. The car has been over 22 years with the current owner (since 1998) . Currently, the odometer reads 57,600 kilometres. The car has original regular number plates: M. 470848, as the first and only registration, in ca. 1965, when it was imported to the city of Madrid, has never been changed. The vehicle was preserved fully original until 2013, when a restoration process was started at the specialised car repair shop ‘Cars by Symon’, in Barcelona. There is a full service history with invoices available which can be delivered with the car. Condition of the cabin inside: original, fantastically preserved. Valid Spanish documents, fully in order. The car will be delivered with a newly passed vehicle inspection (Spanish ITV) . The vehicle is located in Ciudad Real, Spain.
