M'I lumina - Luciana Grazia Menegazzi - Ceramic object, Vase

A decorative white porcelain vase with intense blue details on the surface and bisque finish. It is inspired by a typical M’I lumina shape. Thin and delicate, it has a ‘tulle’-like texture on the inside, as well as at a fine, fringed edge. Collector’s object, handmade without using any moulds, made by adding porcelain layer after layer with a brush on a balloon, until the ‘rough’ external finish that pleasantly contrasts with the inside surface. The piece is single-fired in a ceramic kiln at 1260ºC. It is not glazed, therefore not suitable to contain water or any liquids. Height approx. 22 cm, diameter approx. 16/20 cm In 2015, architect Luciana Grazia Menegazzi founded the brand M’I lumina, a company that makes porcelain lamps and works of art.
