Folio (about 353x240 mm., binding 360x255 mm.). (34), 1-234, 1-44 ll, pp (1) -19, (1). Titolo e testo prestato in rojo e nero, música preto in rojo e negro, 3 fullpage woodcuts, circa 200 woodcuts in text illustrating the life of Christ. Last page with large woodcut printer device.
Contemporary red morocco, very slightly worn, a very fine “à la fanfare” -binding in the style of the Eves, spine and boards entirely covered with a very rich and finely executed ornamentation in gold, gilt edges. On the middle of the boards an oval with the armorial weapon of Guillaume Marascot surrounded by laurel leaves. 7 leaves with mended tears or damages in the outer or lower margin. fol. 51-52 and 59-60 steamstained in outer margin. fol. 117-118 printed on vellum.
Otherwise some foxing, or leaves partly somewhat browned. In a new slightly worn linen box.
