Homage to Raphael Sanzio da Urbino, master painter of the High Renaissance. 18K yellow gold filigree barrel and cap inspired by Renaissance aesthetics, Mozambique garnet set in clip, mother-of-pearl captop star. Blue enamel under the filigree represents the most esteemed color of Renaissance painting. Medium 18K gold nib engraved with cherub motif. Outer box (some wear to box), illustrated inner box, wood display box, booklet (signed and duly stamped: "Montblanc-Simplo GmbH / Hellgrundweg 100 / D-22525 Hamburg"; numbers on booklet, box and pen match).
