Original flyer distributed in the aftermath of the kidnapping of Aldo Moro by the Red Brigades. This was the first of a series of press releases that followed until the epilogue with the final solution of the Moro affair. Dramatic propaganda message, written and sent to news organizations to divulge the reasons for the kidnapping, and the political reasons for the class struggle that pushed the '70s Red Brigades revolution to be so violent. The leaflet with the heading RED BRIGADES and the five-pointed star inside a circle, begins by reciting THURSDAY 16 MARCH AN ARMED CORE OF THE RED BRIGADES HAS CAPTURED AND ENCLOSED IN A PRISON OF THE PEOPLE ALDO MORO, PRESIDENT OF CHRISTIAN DEMOCRACY ... 3/16/78 FOR THE RED BRIGADES COMMUNISM. The mimeographed flyer on paper, measuring approx. 33x22 cm, with 80 lines of text written on both sides, has slight tears at the edges, sheet folded in four that leaves slight central folds but overall is in very good condition
