A large Madonna with Child, with non coeval wooden frame. Italian school dating back to the middle of the 1700s (18th century) . Our Lady, sitting in a chair, holds the Child in her arms and looks at a fruit bowl in the foreground. Jesus looks directly at the viewer as he lifts the cross of a rosary, which terminates in the left hand or Our Lady. In the background, beyond a curtain, there is a mountain landscape. The work has very intense colors. The painting is in good condition, has been relined and restored. The frame has a few minor losses. This painting comes from an important Italian collection.
