Mahogany Louis XVI cylinder desk - Mahogany - Approx. 1800

A mahogany cylinder desk - secretary -writing desk with 3 drawers. With its original features, restored exclusive cylinder desk. Mahogany cylinder desk with pull-out writing table top, when you pull it out the 1/4 mahogany cylinder disappears into the back. Behind this a mahogany interior becomes visible with drawers, a secret storage place and a fan door. The drawers have brass knobs. The 3 bottom drawers are glued with Cuba mahogany (original) and have the original brass ring mountings with an 18th century vase motif and can be locked with the original locks. The desk has been finished with wax applied by hand and will last for many more generations in this condition. 122 cm wide, 118 cm tall, 57 cm deep and the table top has a height of 84 cm.
