Malayer In this old nomad's carpet of approx. 80 years, we can see a very clear abrash; this term describes the deviation in a particular colour of the carpet's pile; the deviations arise when a newly dyed yarn with a colour nuance different from that of the old yarn is used. Exclusively natural dyes were used. Of high quality, the carpets are dense and thin. They convey a feeling of genuine nomad handiwork. They are mostly made in smaller sizes and with a lively pattern.
