Malayer These old nomad carpets, that are approx. 80 years old, have a very distinct abrash, which means that there are colour deviations of an individual colour of the carpet pile. The deviations come about when newly dyed yarn is used for knotting and the colour nuance deviates from the old yarn. Only natural plant-based colours were used. The carpets are dense, thin, and of a high quality. They convey a feeling of genuine nomad craftsmanship. They are mostly made in smaller sizes and with a lively pattern.
