The panel is subject to splitting mostly along the top edge. Losses to the panel itself can be seen around the edges and corners, mostly visible to the upper left hand corner and centre top edge. The paint surface is stable on the support. Some surface marks and scratches, with a larger dent to the upper central section of the panel. Dirty, discoloured varnish. Surface dirt. UV light inspection reveals an old layer of varnish across the surface with no spots of retouching
