Mantel clock - Faizant, Paris - Ormolu - Early 19th century

Ormolu bronze vase mantel clock on oval base with swan-shaped handles with on top a putti in a chariot with birds stretched in front of it. (Reins are missing.) Flawless and signed (Faizan à Paris) enamel dial, with striking mechanism. The dial has 2 winding holes, key and pendulum are missing. Ca. 1800. Height 42. 5 Width 27. 5. This lot will be shipped by registered mail or can be collected in Knokke, Belgium. Faizan is active in the building on rue St-Dennis from 1806-1820.
