Signed "Marc Chagall" in pencil l.r., inscribed "H.C" in pencil l.l. Color lithograph on paper, image size 10 3/4 x 8 3/4 in. (27.0 x 22.0 cm), framed.
Condition: Toning, gentle mat burn, not examined out of frame.

Out of the frame the sheet is a wove paper measuring 19 x 15 in., with a partial ARCHES watermark, and with deckled right and lower edges. There is mat burn plus several other roughly concentric squares of staining from previous mats and such. There are old hinges to the upper edge and pencil annotations - all to the verso. The left hinge is detached. The frame measures 21 1/4 x 18 1/2 x 1 1/4 in.
