These types of lithographic prints are considered rare, their number is limited and therefore more expensive than the current one. Prints with the EA signature are intended for the artist or someone close to him.Marcel Mouly - French artist, working on the border between Cubism (perfect composition and deconstruction of perspective) and Fauvism (juxtaposition of colors that work together) and the synthesis of realism and abstraction. In 1945, his paintings were exhibited alongside those of Matisse at the Paris Autumn Salon and also at the May Salon along with Picasso, Chagall and Klein. Mouly and Picasso had many exhibitions together around the world, Picasso's ceramics were accompanied by Mouly's compositions. Mouly's style was inspired by the deep, expressive colors typical of Matisse's fauvist works, and Picasso's cubism. Beginning in the mid-1950s, Mouly created many lithographs. His lithographs are in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in Japan, the Geneva Museum, the Museum of Modern Art in Helsinki and the Paris National Library, among others. He has been honored with such awards as the Chevalier de L'Orde des Arts et Lettres (1957) and the Premier Prix de Lithographie (1973).
