Kwepelye Mask from the Senufo of northern Ivory Coast These masks are worn during the initiation ceremony of the Poro. The face is surrounded by little wings, there is a figure standing between the two horns on the summit of the mask. The mouth is prominent and the nose, aquiline. Two goatees hang at the base of the mask. Hardwood with a honey coloured patina.
