Antique Chinese necklace made from large nugget beads of natural pink tourmaline which are spaced by cultured pearls. The tourmaline nuggets graduate from approximately 10mm X 8mm X 6mm up to 25mm X 18mm X 16mm at the largest central bead. There are 25 tourmaline nugget beads in total. The pearls average around 6mm and have very high luster. The necklace measures 29 1/2" in wearable length, and is finished with a gold-washed silver box-type clasp which is crowned with pink tourmaline cabochon. Total weight is 119.5 grams. The tourmalines have natural inclusions which are easily seen in the photographs, and to be expected in beads this large
