wood, rest.Based on stylistic features, this figure can be attributed to a master who, according to Vogel, was active at the beginning of the 20th century. A figure of his hand is in the Buffalo Museum of Science in the USA (cf. Vogel, 1989, p. 88). A figure that was donated to the Royal Museum for Central Africa in Tervuren in 1920 can also be attributed to him (cf. AHDRC 0028266).
