Maureen Bachaus - My hands -they want to

This artwork blends analog and digital elements into a story on paper. The photo shows hands that shyly come together, almost as if they are hiding something or about to release something. Over it, you see a digital line drawing, like thoughts making their way outward. It's a play between vulnerability and courage — a moment when you're not quite sure whether to withdraw or to take the leap.
The artwork is framed in a high-quality white box frame with glass in front, and is exhibited in the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium.

Maureen Bachaus tells stories by connecting images, materials, and techniques. She is represented by galleries in Belgium, Germany, and France, and her work has been presented at the SCOPE BASEL art fair, Art Rotterdam, BIO50 24th Biennale Slovenia, and the Dokufest international film and documentary festival.
