Superb set of three Isocèle shelves by French artist Max Sauze. The Isocèle shelf, designed in 1970, is certainly one of the rarest shapes created by Sauze and is impossible to find on the market. It certainly was produced in very limited quantities. The Isocèle shelf was shown at the Ateliers D'art in Paris, in 1970 A must for fans of minimalist designers such as Donald Judd, Sol Lewitt etc. . . Max Sauze is a French sculptor and artist. He challenged preconceived ideas by bringing new shapes and innovative creative techniques. The artist mostly designed lamps: the iconic Cassiopé suspension light in 1970. However, we owe him the Isocèle furniture (1970) which is now being sold for crazy prices at auction. . . Dimensions: H 172 x 155 x 32. 5
