PIERRE MAYNADIER & MULLER FRERES #2
. A gorgeous French 1925 art deco chandelier in nickel plated solid brass or bronze holding 4 globes in frosted moulded-pressed glass by Muller freres. Pierre Maynadier was a bronzier and designer of lamps with his workshop in the 11th of Paris near Bastille. In their design and excecution Maynadier lamps are often of excellent quality. This chandelier is about 78 cm high. Maynadier used glass globes made by the famous glass factory of Muller freres. A model refered to as 'boule aux bandeaux. The shades have a diameter of 15 cm. The chandelier is in very good condition. The mounting still has its original nickel plating which shows only little traces of wear. I cleaned the fixture and protected it with an invisible layer against oxidation. The chandelier is newly wired. It holds european E14 sockets. For the US or Japan I will wire it with American candelabra base ones. The Muller globes are signed Muller fres Luneville. This model shade is always signed. But the signature is often almost invisible and only retraceable for those who know where to search for it and how it looks like. One of the 4 globes on this chandelier has a signature that's less vague. Still much better visible on my picture than in reality. The globes are in excellent condition. Some small chips to the collar of one or two of the shades. It's common collars of 90 y/o glasses have chips and they are completely hidden by the fitters of the fixture.

. The chandelier will be shipped in two parcels. Safe packaging guaranteed : As restorer of French art Deco lighting I sell my lamps online for a fraction of the prices art deco specialized antique shops sell for. For over 20 years I ship my parcels worldwide with the precious items well protected and fully insured.
