McChesney Texas Arrow Shank Spurs. A pair of overlaid spurs by Nocona and marked with the small "McChesney" stamp under the swingers on the 7/8" band. The arrow shanks are 2 3/4" and hold a 9-point, 2" rowel. Surface pitting on the iron but the silver is clean and sharp.
Enid Justin, owner of Nocona Boots purchased the McChesney operation after J.R.'s death and moved it to Nocona, Texas in 1929. These are listed as pattern 104-2.
