This medal was awarded or issued to volunteers in memory of the war of 1870/71. It can be assumed that the loaned members were members of the association.

Round medal made of gun bronze with a rim.

Front:
In the middle of a pedestal, sitting on a throne Germania with a crown.In the right hand a scepter with a (Prussian) eagle, on the left a standing sword.To the left standing a woman in a robe with a crown, to the right holding a harp.to the right standing a man in a robe with his right hand resting on a sword and shield on the right.

Small under the base 1905 (assumed foundation date)
