L.I.) very fine (6) £120-£160---Alfred James Wright attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry and served with the 2nd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 2 June 1915. He later transferred to the Machine Gun Corps, with the acting rank of Sergeant, and transferred to the Army Reserve on 22 February 1919. Frederick Arthur Orpin was born at Westminster and attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry at Wokingham, Berkshire. He served with the 6th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 22 September 1915, and was posted missing, presumed killed in action, on 3 September 1916.
