He served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War in Mesopotamia, and was killed in action on 6 April 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Basra Memorial, Iraq.Lawrence Alfred Martin was born in Dublin and attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry at Rugby, Warwickshire. He served with the 6th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 12 September 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.Percy William Turner was born in Oxford and attested there for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He served with the 5th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 25 September 1915.
