Ca. 1200 AD Rare Medieval bronze round pendant with depiction of The Judgement of King Solomon - is a story from the Old Testament in which King Solomon of Israel ruled between two women both claiming to be the mother of one child. Solomon revealed the real mother by suggesting to cut the baby in two, so each woman can receive half of the child. The non-mother approved his proposal, while the actual mother begged to save the child and pass it to her rival. Size: L: 25mm / W: 16mm ; 5g Good condition. Provenance: Obtained from B.
