Meissen Porcelain Tureen with Lid and Under Platter, "Blue Onion" Pattern, ca. 1924 - 1934
Three porcelain pieces, in underglaze "Blue Onion" pattern, including: oval form bulbous tureen with Rococo style handles with rocaille design, serpentine rim, fitted oval domed lid with twisted scroll finial, marked on the lid and bottom with crossed swords Meissen mark (for 1924-1934), 9 ¾" x 12 ⅞" x 9"; and oval under platter with fluted border and serpentine rim, marked with Meissen marks (for 1825-1924) on the bottom, 1 ¼" x 14 ¼" x 11".
Condition: Good overall, small flake on tureen handle with later touch up.
