Mercedes-Benz - 190 SL - 1957
This exceptionally beautiful Mercedes-Benz 190SL dates from 1957 and has stood still for about 20 years. It is an original Dutch car and has had 3 owners in the past. The engine has been overhauled, brakes overhauled and renewed, carburettors overhauled, etc. , by a mechanic working at Mercedes. It was completely stripped and restored in 2018. New tires, exhaust renewed, etc. New beams have been welded. The underside of the car has been taken care of and partly fitted with a new bottom, and the car has received many, many new parts. The 190 SL has also been equipped with a completely new interior, the bonnet has also been restored and reupholstered in dark blue. New original seats have been fitted and reupholstered in leather. The interior, the iron springs of the seats have also been renewed. (The fillings of both seats alone cost more than €700, please refer to the invoice) The 190 SL has been sanded down to the bone and sprayed in the original colour. The restoration was carried out by a recognised and prominent antique car restoration company. The 190 SL has been professionally disassembled in its entirety, fitted with various new original parts and reassembled (see photos) . All papers and a photo report of the restoration are present.
