1960 Mercedes 190 SL.
A real driver's car, that's what this beautiful red 190 SL is. Not perfect but with some minor and minimal signs of age such as a dent in the bonnet. Otherwise, it is a very nice car to look at still with very beautifully closing parts like doors, bonnet and boot lid. Beautiful paint with no perceptible rust.
The bottom of the car is solid and has an older protective coating that is still in place.
The stylish interior features black upholstery on the generous seats and door panels finished with a black carpet. The dashboard and clocks are still in neat condition with slight signs of use here as well, appropriate for a car over 60 years old.
The fabric top closes nicely and has no flaws or tears. The 190 SL comes with the hard top shown in the photos.
Technically, the car is in good condition, the engine, with the choke on, starts well and runs silky smooth. The clutch picks up well and the gears engage well. The 190 SL also brakes as it should. There is minimal oil leakage on the underside of the engine, which is not unusual for this type of older car.
The car has a Dutch registration.
In short, a still beautiful 190SL that is as pure as ever and excellent for wonderful scenic drives.
