Magnificent and also very original Mercedes-Benz 230 SL of the year of manufacture 1967. A beautiful car to look at in a neat Cream colour combined with beautiful chrome work and Whitewall tyres. The bodywork is in a very intact condition and has tight fittings. The interior is also in an attractive condition, the vehicle is treated with care and is complete. In the stylish dashboard, the authentic VDO instruments are present and they are intact. The upholstery of the seats, floor and door panels was ever renewed a few years ago. Under the bonnet is the powerful 2. 3 6-in-line engine that delivers almost 150 HP. The combination of the pleasant engine and the automatic transmission makes this Benz a wonderful driver's car, suitable for both consistent use and longer distances. The car spent most of its life in the U. S. state of California, the favourable climate there has ensured that chassis and bodywork have been kept dry and intact. The underside of the vehicle is extremely solid and original! In 2014, the SL came to Europe and has since been owned by 1 German owner. In 2017, the engine was overhauled as well as the cylinder head. In 2019, a well-known Dutch Mercedes specialist also carried out a major technical service. Various invoices and photos are available for inspection. At the moment, the car has German registration documents but, of course, we can take care of a Dutch registration. The original hardtop is present as a nice extra. Delivery within the Netherlands and abroad is possible in consultation. The car can be viewed and picked up in Leek, the Netherlands.
