Mercedes-Benz - 230.6 Lang (W114) - NO RESERVE - 1975
Very nice 230 Strich 8 Mercedes originally delivered in the Netherlands. This is the original Pullman edition with 7 seats. Only 1,131 copies were built of this version with the original 230. 6 engine. In total, over 10,000 copies were built of the Strich 8 Pullman. The car was used until 2009 and was then put to a halt. We bought is in 2018 and technically refurbished it. The car used to be black with blue interior lining. The car has the original 6-cylinder inline engine with 4 speeds controlled from the steering wheel. The car has been checked technically and fitted with new filters, oil (engine, cardan, gearbox) , new brakes (disc and brake calipers) , new front tyres and new interior carpeting. In addition, the bodywork has been fully restored with new rubbers for the windshield and the rear window. The car is sprayed in Mercedes dark-blue. This colour was an original colour at the time and fits nicely with the blue interior upholstery. Lining of seats and doors are still original and in good condition. A car in this type of condition is rarely seen. And it drives great with its hydraulic rear suspension (with automatic level control) . The engine is powerful enough to allow the vehicle to keep up smoothly in traffic. As the car is located in Hungary and still has a Dutch registration, we have not been able to arrange a new Dutch periodic vehicle inspection (APK) . The car drives well and we regularly use it to pick up people from and bring them to the airport. This car is a safe investment and will provide lots of (cheap) kilometres tax-wise (in the Netherlands) . The car can be viewed and picked up in Hungary. Transport to Austria, Germany and The Netherlands we can arrange for you.
