Mercedes-Benz - 280S W116 - 1978

This is an original 280S delivered in the Netherlands, from 1978, from the first owner. It has been standing still for at least 20 years and needs to be restored. The engine turns on the starter engine, but doesn’t start (no spark) . It is a project with a lot of work but there is a lot of new sheet metal and an almost complete 2nd car for plate parts including: 4 extra doors, extra bonnet and boot lid, 2 sets of front and rear lights, double set of bumpers, etc. It is possible the front right quarter panel is missing, but we’re looking for it. However, the original registration papers and various maintenance invoices are included. The car can be seen in Opmeer, you can make an appointment via the auctioneer before you place a bid! The delivery costs outside the Netherlands are indicative and will have to be calculated with the buyer.
