The Mercedes-Benz W113 series was produced from 1963 until 1971. The W113 replaced the R121 (W121 BII) in 1963 and was succeeded by the R107 SL-class in 1971. The chief designers were Paul Bracq and Béla Barényi. The 230 SL (1963-1967) , the 250 SL (1967) and the 280 SL (1968-1971) were available with manual or automatic transmission. What makes this Pagoda unique is the rare 'backseat', in other words, a seat for 1 person behind the driver and passenger seats. This European version (EURO SPEC) is in a very neat condition. The car starts immediately and idles nicely at 800 rpm, it brakes properly. This car has always been lovingly maintained, which one can clearly tell from its looks. The car was restored some years ago in the Netherlands and fitted with new paintwork, the car was addressed technically as well as optically. The engine compartment looks fresh and neat.
