Mercedes-Benz - 300 CE-24 - 1991

Mercedes-Benz E class coupe 300-24CE (162kw) , with a five-speed 'Dog Leg' type manual transmission gearbox and limited-slip differential (LSD) Originally, the car was black. The color has been changed during the partial restoration of the car in circa 2017. It has been re-painted inside and out after an accurate body inspection of the rust damage, which has been repaired by professionals. After the car went back from the paint shop, anti-corrosion protection coating done too. . . The Engine of the car has been overhauled too. . . The clutch was changed into A new 'SACHS' set of clutch. The interior of the car is in great condition with a nice patina without any leather cracks. The material of ceilings has been changed into "Alcantara" Unfortunately, for an unknown reason, the seats were converted by the previous owner into non-electrical ones, so, the adjusting switches on the doors are in not working order! The original steering wheel has been changed into the ultra-rare "BBS Italvolanti" steering wheel, which fits so nicely, and it's so comfortable to use. AMG speedometer looks and fits nicely. Regarding the chassis suspension, It has been changed into a new set of high-rated H&R products. There are no old rubber parts left. All bushes/swing levers have been changed into "Meyle" products, which is a high standards manufacturing. New brake discs/pads, pipes/hoses have been installed during the rest of the chassis repair works like all-wheel bearings changed into new ones. All chassis metal parts have been cleaned up by cold ice, or soda blasting procedure before the powder coating finishing. The "Sport. Line" stabilizer has been installed. The exhaust manifolds are new too, the rest of the exhaust system is partly new, due it was not necessary to change it. All bolts/nuts which were damaged by corrosion have been sandblasted and zinc plated. Please notice that the car has some small defects, please see the list below: - The rear quarter windows have some visible scratches. - The front seats open to the entrance for rear passengers without pushing the buttons. - The spare wheel is missing. - There is some noise going out of the differential while shifting from reverse into the first gear.
