CCR report: https: //www. classiccarratings. com/reports/1676
\r
The Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL 6. 3 was the top version of the W109 series and was created under the leadership of the technical leader of the German brand, Erich Waxenberger. He saw the American muscle cars with a big V8 on the other side of the ocean and decided to spoon the gigantic engine from a Mercedes-Benz 600, a 6,332cc V8, into the W109. In 1968 the model appeared unexpectedly at the Geneva Motor Show.
\r
We are talking about a performance saloon from the year 1971! , but what kind of specifications are we talking about? The V8 power source has a displacement of 6. 3 liters, with a total of 250 hp against a weight of 1,780 kg. Not really impressive, since the number of horsepower and kilos are increasingly identical these days. Although this does not apply to its successors, the S63 and S65. Anyway, the maximum power of the 300 SEL 6. 3 is not impressive, but the performance is even more so. For example, acceleration from 0-100 km/h takes just 6. 5 seconds and is unlimited at 220 km/h. Those are just figures from the good old days! This made it one of the first Mercedes with AMG influences.
The 6. 3 is capable of a top speed of 220 km/h and the big limo sprinted from 0 to 100 in an incredibly fast 6. 5 seconds! This made this Benz faster than a Porsche 911 S or a Jaguar E-Type. This top model was also the founder of the current AMG.
\r
This Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6. 3 is from 1971 and was restored more than three years ago. Apart from a number of beauty spots, the restoration is reasonable, see photos.
\r
A very special appearance in this color scheme and the red interior with armrests completes it completely. Also equipped with the original Becker radio.
The interior has completely new leather.
The ventilation blower is not currently working and needs to be checked
\r
The engine starts and runs, but it is advisable to check the engine before taking it on the road, as it certainly requires maintenance. Where the Mercedes has not been running for a period, it is easiest to start with quickstart.
\r
Also very interesting as an investment.
\r
Equipped with Dutch registration certificate
\r
View the 153 attached photos
\r
Transport delivery all over the world possible at favorable rates.

Before you place a bid, you can come and view the car in Muiderberg
