1990 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL 24v (R129) in good condition. USA version, registered in Madrid, Spain. The only previous owner was a German man living in Madrid. In 1990 there were quotas for the import of these Mercedes SL and it was virtually impossible to buy one in Madrid. He travelled to Miami, Florida and managed to buy a new one which he imported into Spain. Exceptionally well equipped: 5-speed automatic transmission, Tempomat, automatic climate control, airbags, power seats and mirrors, with memory, wind deflector, etc. Original and stamped service booklet, use manuals and entertainment, tool set, spare wheel, jack, two keys with infrared remote control, etc. The car has always lived in an single-car garage in Madrid, with dry weather. Maintenance performed at an official Mercedes-Benz service and Apolo repair shops, specialist in classic mechanics. There are many old maintenance invoices available. Original blue convertible hood, with hardly any signs of wear, still with the original blocks/transparent plastic. The mechanism works perfectly and it has recently been serviced by a specialist in convertible hoods. The car has a matching period Becker Mexico radio, newly installed, and its original Hirschmann power antenna. The car had no radio as standard and it had always an Alpine CD which did not work. Valid vehicle inspection until January 2021. The car is over 30 years old, but it has only 105,000 miles (about 167,000 km) .
