Beautiful Mercedes-Benz 300SL (R107) in very good original condition! Delivered to the first owner in Germany in 1986 and came to the Netherlands in 1989. Only 87,950 kilometres driven! Which is absolutely correct given the car’s condition; optically and technically in a very good, original condition. The engine runs very well and the automatic transmission (with sports function) shifts smoothly. Complete with documentation, booklets and original hardtop. The W107 series was produced from 1971 to 1989 and is, aside from the G-Class, the longest produced Mercedes model! The R107 replaced the very popular Pagoda and was succeeded by the R129 in 1989. In 1985 the 300SL was added to the model range, equipped with the new 3 litre 6-cylinder engine with 188 HP. The 300SL was in production for only 4 years and is nowadays a very popular and much sought after model! Dutch periodic vehicle inspection (APK) valid until 04/06/2022! Of course, throughout the years, this Mercedes-Benz has incurred some traces of ageing and wear (see photos) .
