Mercedes-Benz - 450 SEL 6.9 - Armored - 1976
The Mercedes-Benz 450SEL 6. 9 was the top model for the W116 S-Class built between 1976 and 1980. Very few specimens were produced in the Armored version directly by Mercedes Benz. The engine was disassembled because it seemed to be stuck, but the cylinder heads, cylinder block and crankshaft were not broken. It therefore needs to be fitted with new wear parts (bushings, rings, head gaskets, valve timing, etc.) All of the disassembled engine pieces were well boxed and handled. The car can be viewed and collected in Rovigo, by appointment with Catawiki. It is advisable to view the vehicle before bidding, in order to avoid disappointment afterwards.
