. The engine has a cylinder capacity of 4520 cc, 8 cylinders, maximum power of 154 k. W and 209 HP!
. Original 169,692 km with NAP certificate (Dutch national carpass) .
. Very luxurious execution, the SEL is the extra long version with a full leather interior (in very good condition) , power windows, tinted glass, metallic paintwork, electric sliding roof and more!
. The engine is perfectly in order, it runs very well, the automatic transmission shifts well! The car drives great. Recently received a maintenance service. Will be delivered with a new Dutch periodic vehicle inspection valid for 2 years.
. Interior in very good condition, leather interior and headliner in good condition.
. Exterior is very neat except for some traces of ageing, see pictures.
The W116 a top-class model series from Mercedes-Benz. The series premiered on 25 September 1972. The last unit was produced in September 1980. The first series of the W116 was officially named S-class, referring to Sonderklasse or ‘super-klasse’.
. The sedans were available as S, SE and SEL. The 'E' stands for Einspritzer (German for injection engine) and the 'L' stands for Long. The wheelbase of the SEL is 10 cm longer.
