The Mercedes-Benz 600 SWB, model W100, is a very luxurious and prestigious top limousine which was built from 1963 to 1981. The car is almost legendary and was used by famous heads of state and film stars. The Vatican has one, even the Belgian royal family has one.
. This Mercedes-Benz was supplied in 1970 to a prominent Midwest business man and a great benefactor from the University of Ioawa, Texas, who bought it for his mother.
. The Mercedes was exchanged at the dealer in Cedar Rapids in 1986. It was then sold to the 2nd owner, Gerald L. . . , urologist. He had it for 19 years. The dealer's purchase note is included. The car was sold to a great collector of Mercedes-Benz vehicles from Berlin in 2005. The odometer reading at the time was 46,000 miles.
