Absolute rarity: The large W114 230 6-cylinder funeral car from Pollmann based on Mercedes Benz /8. Year of construction: 1967 at Daimler-Benz, extended to the B-pillar and delivered to Pollmann, there it was converted and expanded according to customer requirements, first registration 4. 3. 1971. No head rests, seat belts retrofitted in 1971, ivory steering wheel, original chrome caps on the wheels. 2nd row of seats, thus space for 5 undertakers AND two passengers in the coffin area, sensational coffin loading system for single-coffin use. For this purpose, the tank filler neck was moved from the rear to the right side. The engine starts without problems, the technology could be better, the engine is not one hundred percent, but with the year this is not to be unexpected. One or more repairs will certainly be necessary in the future. I bought the car in 2017 and since then have had the underbody and the fuel nozzle welded, and the fuel and brake lines, the starter, as well as various other parts replaced. Of course, all work was carried out in a Mercedes-Benz specialist workshop; Invoice documents are available. The car is regularly on the road in use by an undertaker, especially during funeral trips from the church or cemetery, but unfortunately is not driven as often as it should be due to time constraints in everyday business. That's why I prefer to give the Benz to a colleague with more time or a lover of classic vehicles. Since it is a historic vehicle, I reject all warranty claims. The vehicle is sold as seen. If you do not agree with this, you should not buy it. A visit by appointment is of course possible and also desired. Test drive and viewing for seriously interested parties are possible.
