Mercedes-Benz - SL 250 (W113) "California" - 1967
Italian car since its origins, initially with Pistoia number plates and in 1992 it received new Livorno number plates and new hallmarks (with a new chassis number) because it was officially de-registered. The car is a rare SL 250 California model (500 are believed to still exist in the world) , produced as a 2+2 with hardtop only. An original Mercedes soft top was installed on the car, without modifying the sheet metal, the soft top folds over the bodywork when it opens. Soft top was redone with original material. Car with matching numbers (frame, engine, gearbox, etc.) and colours, manual transmission, and it just completed a high-level preservative restoration. The car was entirely disassembled, repainted and repaired with original parts. MB TEX interior is original, only carpets were redone. All the seals were replaced, windscreen glass and silencer were replaced. Injectors were replaced; cold start valve, petrol pump and injection pump were overhauled. The car is equipped with original Becker radio and battery switch. It can be viewed in Florence. It is registered ASI and equipped with CRS (Certificato di Regolarità Storica) .
