Up for auction is this immaculate Mercedes-Benz SL 320 Special Edition from 1998. The R 129 series debuted in March 1989 at the Geneva Motor Show, succeeding the successful R 107 series. The expectations for the new Roadster were very high, it would have to become a new benchmark with many technical innovations. The vehicle offered here is an SL with the first facelift which has been on the market since 1995. Easily recognizable by countless details on the exterior such as redesigned front and rear bumpers, a grille with six fins or the white indicator lenses on the front. The bumpers which previously had a contrasting colour are now the same as the paint - a particularly striking feature of the first facelift. - Der SL "Special Edition" - This SL 320 is a special edition car from 1998 and a limited production of only 500 units. You can easily tell from the identifying SA code 901. The obsidian black paint was particularly special, 18” AMG rims, red/black leather interior with black stitching, red details and a red fabric top in excellent condition. Condition: This particular model is simply in mint condition. All maintenance was done well without cuttings costs.
