Swiss cylinder music box has a rosewood and ebonized case with inlaid flowers and filigree on the lid with banded borders around the lid and front panel, brass side handles. Interior has a glass panel dust cover, with external crank on the right side, plays 8 airs (songs) on a 9 in. silvered cylinder and single comb; has Jacot's patent Safety Check on the mainspring and damper pad. In working condition, missing 5 teeth; 8.5 in. high x 25.5 in. wide x 12 in. deep. Has an oak box storing 3 extra cylinders. 4.25 in. high x 17 in. wide x 12.5 in. deep.
