[ translate ]

From northwestern Africa, and with the official name NWA 859, it is known in the meteorite world as ‘Taza’, as it comes from the vicinity of the town of the same name in Morocco. Classified as an ungrouped plessitic octahedrite, this is one of the most valued iron meteorites in the world. The specimens found are mostly small in size (few grams) , so it is extremely hard to find slices of this size coming from large pieces. With inclusions, possibly of troilite. Mirror-finish polishing, but leaving its Widmanstätten pattern visible. Museum quality. A superb chance to get this wonderful and unique jewel of the universe. With IMCA (International Meteorite Collectors Association) Certificate of Authenticity. Regards and good luck! CRATER METEORITES
