The subject is a nude woman standing in the garden of Eden with a serpent. Titled "My Sin" in pencil. Exhibited previously in New York, but remained in the artist's estate until his death. Lewis J. Miller ( 1912 - 2007 ) was an American artist associated primarily with the New York area, working in a wide variety of media. The painting was recently framed in a vintage wood frame with a gold mat. The mat window size is 2" x 6". The outer frame dimensions are 7 1/2" x 11 1/2".
