Pottery "mingqi" featuring an equestrian model of a female polo player. Tang dynasty (618-907) . Pottery coated with white slip and well-preserved color pigments. The female rider is 36,5cm high and 42cm long, which is already a good size, and comes with a custom-made plexiglas stand. The horse is modeled in motion at full gallop, the woman is wearing a long blue and white robe on top of black boots. Her hair is tied up, her hands are firmly holding the reins and a polo stick. Wonderful condition, no visible damage. From a private Belgian estate, acquired in 2012. This horse comes with a TL certificate from Ralf Kotalla, consistent with the Tang period, in 3 different points. It will safely be sent by Fed. Ex in a wooden crate.
