China, perfect condition. Outstanding pottery "mingqi" representing a painted pottery model of an Equestrian Musician. Grey earthenware coated with white slip and remains of yellow, orange, white, black and red pigment. Tang Dynasty (618-907) High 36 cm. - The result of the thermoluminescence test, is consistent with the dating of the item, Tang dynasty (ca. 1200 years old) . The spirited horse covered in a yellow slip and standing foursquare. The rider seated solidly in the saddle with feet stretched forward in the stirrups, her body twisted to the left at the waist and dressed in a long red and white tight-fitting tunic above black boots.
