Made in Italy. Montegrappa celebrates the life of the universally admired artist with its iconic Tribute To Elvis Presley pens, licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises. These pens honour the man who transformed popular music in the mid-20th century, becoming one of the most important figures in the history of recorded music. Black is the colour of 1968, the year of Elvis’s “comeback special”, in which he wore the famous black leather suit. The pocket clip represents the zipper of the jacket, while the decorations on the bottom of the barrel were inspired by other details of Elvis’s black leather clothing. 500 fountain pens, 500 rollerballs, and 968 ballpoint pens were made for this model. For the gold version, 11 fountain pens, 11 rollerballs, and 11 ballpoint pens were produced, for a total of 33 pens equivalent to Elvis’s age in 1968.
