Montereau French Faience Copper Mounted Charger

Montereau LM&C French porcelain faience charger in copper repousse collar. Features a porcelain charger with a medallion in the center depicting a nymph with putti all on a blue ground. Surrounding the medallion is elaborately painted with figural and floral motifs. The copper mount is wide with high relief decoration with floral faces, baskets with bouquets and scrolled vines. Marked with impressed LM&C mark and painted H. Measures 23" wide. Good overall condition with wear. Hill Auction Gallery will not ship.
