Monumental relief carving ‘Saint Dorothea, Saint Anthony and Saint Margaret’, depicted in full-length figures side by side with attributes (Dorothea with basket, Anthony with bell and pig and Margaret with dragon), probably Franconian 2nd half 15th c., wood, glazed dark brown with remnants of old colouring, assembled from nine vertical blocks, backs of blocks hollowed out, red lacquer collector's seal on the reverse, 159x124x5cm, the cross of Margaret and the lower end of the relief in the centre replaced, several small chips backed with wood, minor losses to the joints of the blocks on the reverse, some joints reinforced with dovetails, two transverse bars replaced, Provenance: Hamburg collection
